ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS
The Vita Body Products Difference (AKA Why My Soap Isn’t Basic)
When it comes to soap, I know you’ve got options. Grocery store shelves are full of them.
But here’s where mine are different:
I make every single bar from scratch. Yep. Sodium hydroxide (lye), water, oils, my own two hands — the whole old-school process. Cold process soap. The real deal. No pre-made bases. No shortcuts. Just patience, science, and a little sass.
Each batch is poured, cut, and then cured for 4–6 weeks. Why? Because good things take time. You can’t rush magic.
Herbal-Infused Bars (Because Extra Is Worth It)
For my calendula and lemon balm soaps (like Honeysuckle and Sweet Cucumber), I take it a step further. I slowly infuse high-quality herbs into the oils before the soap is even made. That’s an extra 6 weeks before the normal cure time.
Do I have to?
No.
Do I?
Absolutely.
I choose these herbs for their traditionally known soothing and skin-loving properties. Anything worth doing is worth doing right.
Tallow, Lard & Old-School Goodness
Luscious is made with locally sourced tallow and lard that I render myself. Yes, render. As in all-day slow cook, stir, strain, repeat.
Why? Because these fats create an incredibly moisturizing, luxurious bar. I also superfat my recipes (leave extra oils in) so you feel clean — not squeaky, tight, and questioning your life choices.
The Rose Soap (She’s Fancy)
Made with garden-harvested rose rose hips, infused slowly and cured patiently. This one takes over 12 weeks from harvest to finished bar.
And yes. It smells like actual roses.
Coffee Soaps (Not Just for Drinking)
Coffee & Cream and Caramel Macchiato contain real coffee grounds and coffee from a local joint, Teaches Coffee, for gentle exfoliation. Because they're just as picky about their ingredients as we are. Scrub off the day. Keep the moisture. Smell delicious.
Win-win.
Milk Soaps (The Creamy Overachievers)
I use locally sourced raw goat milk and raw cow’s milk in select bars. I replace the water completely with milk. It’s tricky. It’s slow. It can go wrong.
But when it goes right?
Unbelievably creamy. Soft. Dreamy.
No powdered shortcuts here.
Facial Bar (For Your Fancy Face)
Formulated specifically for facial skin with raw honey, tamanu oil, thyme, and witch hazel. Gentle cleansing with thoughtful ingredients chosen for their traditional skin-supporting qualities.
Your face deserves its own bar. Period.
Chamomile Baby Butt Bar (Yes, I Said Butt)
Gentle enough for babies. Loved by sensitive-skin adults. Made with chamomile-infused oil and zero nonsense.
And yes, I giggle every time I say the name.
And That’s Just the Soap…
Shower Steamers
Menthol-packed sinus-opening powerhouses. For the shower. ONLY the shower. Trust me on that one.
Bath Bombs
Fizz. Color. Moisturizing oils. Science experiment vibes (with toy incentives) for kids and stress relief for grown folks.
Ink Stick
Herb-infused hydration for tattoos — new or old. Calendula, plantain, chickweed, shea butter. Tested and approved by real humans before I ever released it.
Shampoo & Conditioner Bars
Because your scalp’s pH is different than your body’s (ask me how I learned that the hard way). Thoughtfully formulated syndet bars for healthy hair without the plastic bottles.
Lip Butter
Creamy. Herb-infused. Exactly what your chapped lips have been begging for.
Packaging (Because I Care)
I use biodegradable plastic. Toss it in the trash so it makes its way to a landfill where the proper heat helps it break down.
Look at us. Saving skin and trying to be kind to the planet.
Mystic Magnesium Lotion
Rub it in. Feel smug.
This isn’t your average lotion pretending to multitask.
I start with rich, skin-loving oils and butters that melt in smooth (no greasy regret). Then I add magnesium chloride — because sometimes your muscles need to calm down and stop acting dramatic.
Perfect for sore shoulders, restless legs, and those “why am I this tight?” days.
Massage it in. Let it do its thing. Carry on like the well-rested legend you are.
Uckempucky
Yes, that’s the name. No, I’m not changing it.
This is my deeply infused herbal balm for all your cranky spots.
I slowly steep powerful herbs into quality oils, then seal it up with beeswax into a thick, concentrated balm that means business. No fillers. No fluff. Just plants doing what plants have traditionally done.
Rub it into tired joints, sore backs, or wherever your body is filing complaints.
A little goes a long way. So does stubbornness.
Farmer’s Friend
For hands that actually do things.
Cracked knuckles. Dry patches. “I forgot gloves again” skin.
Farmer’s Friend is a thick, ultra-nourishing balm packed with rich butters and oils to deeply condition and protect hardworking skin. It creates a breathable barrier to help lock in moisture and bring rough spots back to life.
Not fancy. Not dainty.
Just dependable.
Kind of like you.
